Karl and I met at College of Mount Saint Vincent in 2016. He was a senior and I was a junior. I worked as the head student athletic trainer and Karl applied to be a student trainer his senior year at CMSV.

As most of you know, I thought Karl was a jerk! The only encounter I had with Karl was him coming into the trainers office during his wrestling season, and asking to wrap his wrist. I said I would do it for him since trainers are suppose to wrap athletes, he then proceeded to give me attitude and said he will do it himself and left the trainers office.

I tried everything to convince my head trainer that it didn’t make sense to hire Karl including saying that he was a senior and he'd be leaving in a year, so there's no point training him (LOL) But my head athletic trainer loved Karl and hired him anyway.

THEN, my head athletic trainer paired Karl and I together for soccer (I was so annoyed haha) at the first soccer practice and Karl wouldn’t stop talking my ear off on the field. He quickly grew on me. We became best friends that year, and the rest is history .
