Our Wedding

Brett and I had been going to school together since middle school. We never really interacted with each other until the night of our high school graduation. Fast forward a few days, Brett left for boot camp for the Marine Corps and I was still thinking about the night we started hanging around each other. I decided to write Brett a letter while he was in boot camp. We spent that summer writing letters to each other. Brett then went to Virginia for more training and I started college. Throughout the fall Brett and I kept in contact. Brett came home for Christmas and officially asked me to be his girlfriend. After a few months, Brett got deployed to Japan, making us continue our long-distance relationship. I was in nursing school at the time, so I had lots to focus on and keep myself busy while he was away. We would talk/FaceTime any and every chance we could get. After 10 long months of Brett being gone, he finally got to come home in May of 2020. Since then, we have continued to choose each other.
