Steve and Angie have been encouraging and supporting Elise since the day she was born. They are kind, generous, prayerful, and fun. They have consistently set an example of what a godly marriage looks like in the midst of good times and bad, and are celebrating 39 years together!

Olivia and Elise have had the privilege of being sisters for 24+ years! They bond over all of the weird practices that Angie has instilled in them and take turns swapping teaching stories at family dinners. Their favorite things include chilling by the pool, watching the Bachelor, and thrifting. Elise is so grateful to have a sister as hospitable, funny, and caring as Olivia. Olivia is the person you always want on your team - no matter what the activity is. Elise is thrilled to have Olivia (and Baby Pouilly) stand by her side in November.

The Lord brought Allison and Elise together at the perfect time. Although they had known of each other for many years, they became close friends during Allison’s dreaded gap year. That gap year turned into one of the best years, and the two spent a lot of time hiking, brunch-ing, and growing together. Allison is the best hype woman and sweetest friend. She got to hear all of Elise's pre-dating thoughts about Reuben and heavily encouraged the couple to take pictures together during the early stages of dating. Although Elise is not a fan of most of those pictures, she is thankful to have the memories.

Elise and Emily met through church and instantly hit it off. Emily's bubbly personality and contagious laugh reflect not only her love for others, but also her love for the Lord. Emily is the type of friend who will always listen to you without judgement and never hesitates to speak the truth in love. Together, Elise and Emily spend their time going on walks, drinking coffee, and eating tacos. Emily was a fan of Reuben since day one and never fails to tell him and Elise how excited she is for the both of them.

Corinne has been a friend of the Hobbs Fam since 2003 and decided to make herself a permanent member of the family when she married Elise's brother 20 years later. Corinne and Elise like to have a rowdy time together taking BeReals and Boomerangs as they travel around the world on all the Hobbs Family Bools (vacations). Corinne is so encouraging, amazingly talented, and a joy to spend time with. In the early stages of Elise and Reuben's relationship, all Corinne knew about him was that he had a beard. Now, Corinne and Reuben bring laughter and rowdiness wherever they go as they bond over their shared love of a good cigar, golf, and how amazing it is to be part of the Hobbs Fam (;

Brie and Elise have been friends since Pre-K and have truly been through it all together. From all the first days of school, first dates, graduation, becoming roommates, inside jokes, FaceTime calls, and everything in between, these two have some pretty unforgettable memories together. Brie is one of the best people to celebrate life's accomplishments with as she will always be encouraging and ready to party! This friendship has taught Elise some pretty valuable lessons that have set a standard for what it truly means to be your spouse's best friend -- laugh often, share all your secrets, forgive quickly, celebrate each other's wins, love always. Although Brie and Elise have both found their husbands, they will always have room in their lives for their og bestie!

Roger and Becky are true examples of what it looks like to serve the Lord in every aspect of life. They have faithfully followed His call around the US while raising a family founded in Christ. They are welcoming to all and have created a family environment full of laughter, joy, and good food.

Russell has had the extreme honor of knowing Reuben his entire life. The two have always been quite the duo. Now that Russell is studying on the East Coast, the brothers enjoy virtual hangouts where they spend time playing and watching video games together. During the early stages of Reuben and Elise's relationship, Russell never failed to call his brother during date night. The three have spent many cumulative hours on the phone together talking about school, cooking, teaching, and work.

Joel is one of Reuben's best friends and is basically a brother at this point. They spent many years working together, playing video games, golfing, and hanging with the boys. Although Joel is living on the West Coast for now, the two have remained close through frequent phone calls and texting. Joel and Reuben bond over their love of Star Wars, the movie "Storks", and good sushi.

Jonny and Reuben have been working together since 2017. When not competing to see who's the best at work, they enjoy time goofing off and hanging out. Jonny is loyal, adventurous, and always down to have a good time. Reuben remembers many carpool rides with Jonny where they would watch the sunrise on the way to work and the sunset on the way home... #bluecollarboys

Ever since Nathan and Reuben met at Chick-fil-A in 2018, they have spent the last 6 years goofing off and making inside jokes. Aside from all their shenanigans, the two spend their time together playing video games, watching YouTube and having late night (or early morning) conversations. Their relationship has grown over the years from co-workers, to friends, to roommates. Elise is forever grateful to Nathan for opening Reuben's oblivious eyes to her not-so-subtle interest in him.

David and Reuben (along with Jonny) have been working together for a number of years. Aside from working hard or wishing for rain to get the day off work, the boys enjoy spending time golfing, working on their trucks, and hanging out. David has fed into Reuben's hopes to one day wear Elise down enough and convince her that they should get a German Shepherd puppy the next time David's dogs have a litter.
