….5:30pm almost sunset…..although this was supposed to be an elopement Elise’s immediate family were able to join Elise and Mark’s nuptials on their vacation! Thanks to Elise’s friend Kathy Ireland, Villa Elizabeth was the setting for our amazing and spectacular day! It had been lightly raining throughout the day with the clouds dominating the skies….then almost magically before the ceremony started the clouds parted, the rain stopped, and the glorious blue Hawaiian skies and sun revealed themselves!

Our dear Pastor Randy Christian and his wife Donna, our pastor from NOCC, flew all the way from Texas to officiate our ceremony and shared a wonderful message with traditional vows, and bride & groom communion….the music was beautiful starting out with the acoustical version of “Everlong”by the Foo Fighters…..then Elise’s cousin & goddaughters entered to “Pachelbel’s Cannon in D”……and the bride entered to the classic “Wedding Song” by Paul Stookey (not a dry eye in the audience).

After photos and light refreshments we all headed off to The Original Roy’s in Hawaii Kai, minutes away from Villa Elizabeth, for the celebration dinner and cake cutting!

Roy’s chef and team outdid themselves with an exquisite wedding feast with paired wines. We had to rush a bit because Mark had to catch a late flight to Seattle to attend to his mother who was in ICU….however we still were able to finish dinner, have the cake cutting and celebrate our day!
