God wrote in scripture, Proverbs 18:22 ~ He who finds a wife, finds a good thing and obtains favor in the lord.

This story with Devon Tarpley and Elise Scaggs begins with Devon scrolling on TikTok and finding Elise sharing an encouraging message about God. Not expecting anything, Devon commented on Elise's video encouraging her in her faith.

During that time, Devon was focusing on God and and praying for God to reveal a wife to him, he focused on God and allowed God to take control.

A day later, Devon went to his gym to train when seeing at first sight a beautiful woman behind the counter. Not thinking anything of it, Devon walked by but was then stopped in his tracks and looked back at the beautiful woman behind the counter... That woman was the girl from the video... Elise Scaggs.

The mere thought of Elise living in the same state, same city, or even going to the same gym, was not in Devon's mind..

Devon questioned, and said, "God, I don't know what you're doing but have your way".

For 3 months, Devon and Elise became friends of faith, sharing experience in God and their journey, a few months later they realized God was creating an unbreakable bond together to go on a journey for a life time.
