The night was June 20th, 2015; Elise's 21st birthday. Elise and her friends were out on the town for a night of fun in Arlington, VA when she and Dan first met. The 90s cover band at Clarendon Grill created the perfect atmosphere for love. Dan and Elise started chatting at the bar and Elise thought it was very cool that Dan had spent a year living and teaching in Spain. Dan appreciated that Elise's favorite movie was (and is) Good Will Hunting, one of his favorites as well. They went on an actual date 2 days later and 3 days after that, Elise was off to study abroad in Thailand. The two stayed in touch and finally made it official the following summer. While this photo isn't actually from the night we met, it is from our early days at Clarendon Grill!
