Our wedding is fast approaching so we are sending out our social distancing guidelines ahead of time so you can make an informed decision on your preferred level of participation.

We understand that times are still hard and everyone has varying comfort levels. We are doing our best to keep with government standards and we are trying to keep everyone’s best interest in mind. We ask that every attendee use caution and keep to the 6ft physical distance guidelines and that you use caution when approaching someone outside of your 10 person social circle.

We will have hand sanitizer and masks available for every guest. Please be diligent as many guests would like to keep their distance.

Parking

Parking will be in the neighbours lot, car spots will be allotted. This is one driveway north of ours (we will have a big sign to make it obvious). Parking will be at the end of the property.

Ceremony

We have a few options that you may choose:

Online – we will be streaming the ceremony at 3:30 pm. If this is the option you would like to choose please decline the invite, and use the following link.

In person at our house – we will provide a seating chart for this portion of our wedding. We are going to do our best to have everyone spaced out. If there are specific people/social circles you are trying to maintain please let us know so we can plan accordingly. All chairs will be labelled with names. We ask that everyone only use their labelled chair. If you are staying for the reception this will also be your chair for that portion of the evening. If you decide not to stay for the reception, please let us know so we can plan accordingly.

Reception

As mentioned above you will be using the same chair for the reception. We are asking that at some point each guest will carry their own chair to the dining table. I know this is not ideal but it's the best way to proceed based on our new social norms. (they are fold-able chairs and should not be too heavy).

We will have an outdoor bathroom where we will have gloves and hand sanitizer available as well as running water.

Bar – we will have a bartender who will be serving drinks. There will be hand sanitizer and wipes available.

We will have platted catering for the reception, please contact us directly if you have any dietary restrictions.

In our new normal we are trying to accommodate everyone as best as possible. If you have any questions or advice on how we can best proceed please let us know. We want to do our best to make

everyone comfortable and we fully support any decisions our guests make whether that is watching our ceremony from home or coming to our house.

Please note both the ceremony and reception will be on our lawn. The wedding will be held rain or shine with the reception occurring under a large tent. Weather permitting we will be having the ceremony outside of the tent.
