August 2009 is when our story starts. We met at a house party, not knowing where that night would eventually take us. We dated on and off in the years that followed, always being one step behind or one step ahead of the other.

We welcomed our beautiful daughter Collyn in July 2014, cementing our place in each other's lives. We may not have been ready to commit at that time, but we continued to grow and mature together, working as a team to meet and exceed our daughter's needs.

We rekindled our relationship in March 2020, the lock-down giving us that unexpected push together we didn't know we needed (and let me just say, if anyone can get through the COVID lock-down together they can get through anything).

On February 6th, 2023, three years after reviving our relationship and 14 years after first meeting, Aaron FINALLY popped the question. I immediately went into planning mode, but that all came to a screeching halt when on February 9th, we found out our family of 3 would soon be a family of 4.

Aaron and I decided to wait until after our son, Hudson, made his grand entrance to start the wedding planning.

Fast forward a total of SIXTEEN YEARS after we first met, and we officially have a wedding date!
