We first crossed paths while working at Krispy Kreme in February of 2021, unaware that something truly special was beginning. As Ellie’s group of coworkers joined the team, a friendship naturally formed between us all. One day, she shared in our group chat that she needed someone to talk to—and in that moment, I found myself hoping I would be the one she reached first. By some small miracle, I was.

That call turned into laughter, connection, and eventually me serenading her over the phone. From then on, our bond deepened effortlessly, growing stronger with every conversation, every shared moment.

By 2024, I knew she was meant to be more than just my girlfriend—she was my forever. With the love and support of my family, I asked her to spend the rest of her life with me on Christmas Day. She said yes… and from that moment on, our forever began.
