Things to Do

Elizabeth and Ricky often talk about when they "met" in 2017, but if you've been around a while, you'll know that they actually met over a decade prior. They first became friends when Ricky called The Albers' house (oooo- a landline phone!) to invite Elizabeth to a party. They stayed good friends throughout high school but drifted apart in college where Elizabeth learned to play pretend professionally and Ricky learned about graphic design and where all the good parties were. When Elizabeth moved back to Cedarburg in the winter of 2017, the two bumped into one another working at Cedarburg High School. After hanging out for a few months as friends, Ricky invited Elizabeth to a friend's wedding. Elizabeth was not convinced that it was a date, but she did buy a new dress, get it rush altered, buy new shoes and get her nails done in the unlikely event that it was a date. Five years later, they live together in Milwaukee with their unruly, shaggy, snuggly muppet named Denver. They love exploring Milwaukee, watching F1 (although they back different drivers) and spending time with their families. They are looking forward to starting the next chapter of their life together, and they hope it looks a lot like the last seventeen.
