Our Wedding

T.J.'s work took him to the Northern Kentucky area in June 2022, where he and Beth met. Their first date was at the historic Tousey House Tavern in Burlington, and they have tried to return there around the same time every year. That first date turned into a second date, followed by many more, and in a few months they knew there were in a serious relationship and they never looked back! In late October 2024, T.J. surprised Beth with an engagement ring at his home in Lexington. He told Beth that they were going to dinner at her favorite restaurant (Frank &amp; Dino's) so she would be dressed up for the evening. When she arrived at T.J.'s house, he told her that Louis (their much loved feline baby) had something for her in the tiny mailbox in the bedroom window he likes to lie in. Beth read the note and it told her to go into Louis's dad's office and look inside the box on the mantle. She did, and contained inside was an engagement ring. T.J. then took to a knee and proposed to her, which she happily accepted. They both cried happy tears, and then went to dinner to celebrate their engagement and remained "on a cloud" all evening, and for several days after. Beth could not stop looking at her ring! Beth and T.J. feel they complete and complement each other and are each other's best friend and chief supporter. T.J. loves and respects Beth's parents, Janet and Gene, and her sister, Kristy. Beth loves and respects T.J.'s mother Dema Ann. And they all love Louis! In many discussions leading up to their engagement about the "big things" that truly matter in life, Beth and T.J. agreed that their shared faith in Jesus Christ provided the foundation for their individual lives and for the marriage they are entering into forever. Now, they are excited to share their Wedding Day with treasured family and friends, and are excited to be together with everyone in beautiful Lexington, Kentucky!

NOTE: This hotel is a gentle uphill 6-minute walk to the Church and a 15-minute walk to the Carrick House. Parking is $15 per night for self-parking or $22 per night for valet parking. Uber/Lyft is also available for short distance to the Church and the Carrick House. This Lexington, Kentucky hotel is within walking distance from the University of Kentucky and the Lexington Opera House. The hotel offers on-site dining and free shuttle service to Bluegrass Airport. At the Hilton Lexington/Downtown, every room is equipped with a coffee maker and a work desk. The rooms also feature cable TV with in-room movies and video games. Located in Lexington, within 4.4 miles of Ashland The Henry Clay Estate and 4.5 miles of Hunt-Morgan House, Spark by Hilton Lexington Hamburg has accommodations with a fitness center and free WiFi throughout the property as well as free private parking for guests who drive. The property is around 4.8 miles from Rupp Arena, 4.9 miles from Lexington Convention Center and 6.4 miles from The Arboretum. The inn provides an indoor pool and a 24-hour front desk. Guests at the inn can enjoy a continental breakfast. Lexington McConnell Springs is 6.8 miles from Spark by Hilton Lexington Hamburg, while The Mall at Lexington Green is 9.1 miles from the property. We recommend both Uber and Lyft for getting around Lexington. For out-of-state guests, we will be providing transportation to both the ceremony/reception from The Campbell House. However, we do ask that you RSVP your intent to use the provided shuttle to the bride at 812-630-4534. The picture below shows the church, the Hilton, and our reception venue if you opt to stay at the Hilton and walk.

Need coffee to start your day? You are not alone! The Bride's favorite coffee shop is Kenwick Table https://www.kenwicktable.com/. A close second is Old School Coffee. Fun fact the Bride and Groom share an alley with Old School at Dudley Square and walk to the location often!

Interested in nightlife? The Groom's favorite places for a nightcap are "Chinoe Pub," located at 1050 Chinoe Rd., and "Chevy Chase Inn," located at 833 Euclid Ave.
