Matthew and Elizabeth met through the online dating site, Hinge. After weeks of messaging and getting to know each other, they had their first official date at Bartaco in North Hills, NC. After their first date, they both knew it was meant to be.

In January 2024, Matthew officially asked Elizabeth to be his girlfriend. They spent the following months attending NC State football games, Carolina Hurricanes games, NASCAR races & a family trip to Disney! By October, Matthew knew he wanted to propose. After a beautiful long walk down Hillsborough Street, Matthew got down on one knee in front of NC State’s bell tower and the rest is history!
