The story of Liz and Calvin began eight years ago under the roof of a local Buffalo Wild Wings. At the time, Liz was working as a waitress while attending Iowa Western College when her coworker, Kayla, came in to have dinner and was accompanied by a new, handsome, face. Even without a formal introduction, the three of them shared stories and laughter throughout the night when finally Liz asked Kayla “Who was the cute date?” to which Kayla responded “Ew, no. Thats my best friend”
Once Liz was in the comfort of her dorm, she logged into her dating app account and was surprised to see that handsome, now familiar face come across her phone screen. It was Calvin. Remembering how humorous, fun, and charming he was, she quickly swiped right. It was an instant match! Calvin wasted no time expressing his interest in Liz, messaging her cheesy pickup lines which then turned into daily mutual messages throughout the week. Liz and Calvin went on their first official date and have been inseparable ever since. Their lives together have been full of love and memories including attending concerts, having game nights with friends, going to live comedy shows, spending quality time with family, and becoming homeowners. However, the most beautiful adventure their love has given them has been raising their two incredible children, Miles and Esme.

Now Liz and Calvin are starting their next chapter together; marriage. In October of 2025, the couple will say their vows, devoting their lives together in unconditional love. Onto the next adventure as Mr. & Mrs. Herman!
