Elizabeth and Garrett met in May 2023, even though they should have crossed paths years before!

Elizabeth was six years old when she started tumbling classes with her favorite coach being Janie Rhodes (Tippit), Garrett's older sister. Through seven years of tumbling classes there were plenty of opportunities for Elizabeth and Garrett to meet, but they never knew of each other. Fast forward to 2019 where Elizabeth was working at an assisted living facility where her new director of nursing was Paige Tippit, Garrett's sister-in-law. They worked together for two years and Garrett was never mentioned! During these years Garrett graduated high school and college, and he started working!

Skip to April 30th, 2023 where Paige messaged Elizabeth asking to set her up with her brother-in-law (Garrett).

Elizabeth and Garrett finally met on May 10th, on their first date. That date led to another, and another, and another, and many many many prayers were prayed to the Lord. Before they even started dating, they both knew they would marry eachother! Oh how humorous and perfect the Lord's timing is! June 3rd they made it official, and since then the Lord has had been in control of their relationship. 8 months later, Garrett asked Elizabeth to marry him. The Lord has been insanely detailed in this relationship. Elizabeth and Garrett grew up 30 minutes from each other, unknowingly seeing each other throughout high school and having many mutual friends, but did not meet until the Lord said so! After they got engaged it was a tough couple of months of deciding when to be married. Elizabeth is still in school in Indiana and Garrett is employed in Illinois, but the Lord was working, and He opened a door for Garrett to move to Indiana. The Lord is faithful and will continue to be faithful in Elizabeth and Garrett's marriage!
