Our story began many years ago, although we did not know it at the time. A young girl in high school makes a friend who becomes more like family, and in the years following their friendship, is introduced to a man who is her friend's cousin. That friendship would lead two souls to become one.

In 2018, both first time single parents to our young boys, Alex and Masai, we took a chance and had our first date. Dinner and a movie turned into a whirlwind romance, and in 2020 we welcomed our daughter, Ayla.

On Mother's Day 2024, Alex popped the big question! And of course, the answer was a resounding YES!

Now, through years of growth, love, and friendship, we are so overjoyed and excited to finally be able to celebrate our union, and officially become (although we were always unofficially) Mr. and Mrs. Saez.
