We met on Halloween while Evan was working his night job as a bouncer at Lincoln. Elizabeth was heading home after three in row shifts at the hospital, when her friends convinced her to show up at the bar in her scrubs. The bus stopped right in front of Lincoln and Elizabeth walked in as a nurse for Halloween. Evan appreciated the effort in the costume, approached Elizabeth and asked if the scrubs were “legit.” A short conversation ensues then Elizabeth gets pulled away but continues to notice Evan throughout the night. Come to find out Evan had switched posts in the bar to continue keeping eyes on Elizabeth. Before it’s time to leave, Elizabeth notices Evan in the background and her friends point out his interest. This time Elizabeth goes up to Evan and asks for his number - a first for her. Evan then invites her to dinner in the North End of Boston and the rest is history.
