Our Wedding

Bride:When me and David met we were both in Awanas T&amp;T to be exact, we knew of each other but we're not friends or anything of that sort. David then started dating someone who goes to our church. A couple of years passed and we were then in middle school, that is when I started to gain an interest in him. The summer before we started high school I started to have a crush on David especially since him and his ex were over. Then, he started to date his now ex&nbsp;and now one of my best friends-aka one of my bridesmaids and so I stepped back and pushed my feelings aside. While he started to date her I got into a relationship myself as well, while me and David were friends. After the quarantine had started me and my ex broke up and he and his ex did too. We comforted each other through it because well… breakups can be hard. I then realized my feelings for him were not gone and I later explained that to him and we started talking and getting to know the intentions of one another while we were talking. I would tell my mom how I was going to marry him one day. 3 months pass and we are now in our Sophomore year of high school we were still talking, but I remember I would walk into chorus every Wednesday and tell my friend at the time that it was going to be the day he was going to ask me to be his girlfriend,I did this for a month, then came the day. After church (we had service in the cafe that night) we were sitting on the couch and he pulled out his phone on his notes app and asked me to be his girlfriend because he was so nervous to ask me out loud. And the rest is history. Groom:Me and Lizzie met around 3rd grade. We knew of each other but never really talked much at all. Over the years nothing between us ever happened. We were always in the same kids programs and youth groups; we just never really talked. I was always awkward around girls anyway so that probably had a lot to do with it. I think the most earliest memories with Lizzie was when we were both main Characters in the children's christmas play. I had a lot of fun with that. Over time me and her still didn't converse much. We both got in and out of a few relationships. Then somewhere between freshman year and sophomore year I had just gotten out of a break up and Lizzie found out about it. Then we started to talk a lot. I started to really get to know her then she got to know me. From then the summer going into sophomore year she helped me get through my break up. That's when I started catching feelings for her. I really enjoyed her company. And i thought to myself could she be who i'm supposed to be with? Once the feelings got stronger and I knew for sure she's who I need to be with, I decided to finally ask her to be my girlfriend after talking for 3 months. It's been a crazy journey since then. I'm so excited to call her my wife and the love of my life.
