Jordan proposed on the first day of their vacation to Colorado. The couple planned the trip several months prior. Once they arrived in Colorado, they went directly to Garden of the Gods. They hiked, took in the beautiful views, and took lots of photos. They had almost hiked up back to their car when Jordan told Liz that they had missed a really good photo spot, so they had to hike back up. As they got to the Siamese Twins rock formation, Jordan popped the question. Then Jordan proceeded to tell Liz to turn around where she saw her mom, stepdad, and brother waiting for her! Jordan had coordinated with them and his cousin Maria months in advance.
