We can’t wait to see you at our backyard wedding!




The wind is always whistling up on our hill, especially on an open field. Please dress warm or bring extra clothes as the ceremony and reception will both be outdoors.




Be prepared to take a hike or ride on the hay wagon to reach our wedding spot. The ceremony will begin at 1 p.m. (we think, unless you’re familiar with “Mercer time”), so please allow yourself enough time to trek the 1/4 mile and find yourself a seat.




Unfortunately, we have no backup plan so we are doing this thing RAIN OR SHINE. Please plan and dress accordingly…but fingers crossed for sunshine. 




We plan to spend our first night as newly weds in a tent on the hill. We would love for you to join us! Bring a tent, warm clothes, and extra blankets if you'd like to stay. You are welcome to set up tents the day before the wedding. We are also allowing a few campers below the reception site. Please let us know if you plan to set up and stay. 



Alcohol will include a variety of wine and beer, though we anticipate a large crowd. If you plan to make a night of it, drink and STAY, feel free to BYOB.
