It all started on a simple January weekend at Winter Retreat where the two met. Going into it, Elizabeth reluctantly was only searching for confirmation that Youth Ministry was where God wanted her. Little did she know that she would have two confirmations in that short 72 hour window.

Throughout the weekend, they got to know each other, and instantly, she knew he was the man she had prayed for and more. For months, as she prayed about this, she received confirmation after confirmation about them.

Once they returned back from that weekend, the two spent many evenings each week getting to know each other and developing a deep friendship. They enjoyed church conferences, rodeos, game nights, dinners, church functions and so much more together.

For Bobby Mark, the love was a slow realization that took nine months. The feeling that he knew was there was clouded by fear of ruining their friendship. Finally, on October 3rd, he decided to take the next step and tell her his true feelings, only to leave her the next day for a week on family vacation.

After he returned, the love birds started dating and knew that this was the start of a journey that would last a lifetime. On January 18th, Bobby Mark proposed.
