Our paths crossed before we even knew it. Little did we know, Wes and I had seen each other a few times before actually meeting. Wes and my brother, Jesse, had played high school basketball against each other. Then, a few short years after we both graduated from high school, and started messaging each other. We, then, decided to go on our first date. I drove to Winchester to the Alamo, which was an hour from where I am from, and arrived 10 minutes early. Wes, while staying with his older sister, lived 10 minutes away, arrived 5 minutes late. After he arrived, we spoke about five words to each other until the movie was over. If anyone knows me, I am super shy so I was very awkward at first. Then, we went to Texas Roadhouse. It was a Saturday night so we had to wait an hour and half for a table. We sat in his truck in the parking lot at Texas Roadhouse and talked. This is where we got to know each other better. A week after our first date, we started dating and we became inseparable ever since.
