One day, Liz's friend signed her up on Match.com. Liz thought it was a joke at first, until her friend made her put in a password. After about two weeks of scrolling and only getting messages from men who had children the same age as her, Liz came across Brian's profile. Since Brian was the first person Liz saw that didn't qualify for a senior citizen discount, she messaged him first. When Brian had seen this message from Liz, he was thinking about not even answering because he figured Liz was just going to end up asking for money after the first few minutes of small talk, like all the other women he talked to so far.
When the two agreed to go on their first date, Liz offered to drive to Brian because she knew that if Brian came up to good ole Winchendon, they would probably end up sitting in a field or at one of the three pizza places Winchendon has to offer. So, Liz drove 60 miles down to Springfield, but don't worry, she went on the mass.gov/sex-offender registry after looking up Brian's address to make sure he wasn't a pedophile first!
When Liz arrived, she saw a tall man wearing a pink shirt, with a pink hat and pink flowers. Liz was already impressed at how well this man was dressed and how he was color coordinated down to the roses. Brian took Liz to the Lupa Zoo and then to Red Robin. After that first date, they knew they wanted to spend the rest of their lives together, well at least Liz did!
