We've assembled a few recommendations of our favorite things to do around Berkeley, SF, and Napa Valley for those of you spending a few days in the bay.
The UC Berkeley campus is beautiful & very accessible if you are staying in Berkeley. Stop by the Physics Building to see some filming locations from Christopher Nolan's Oppenheimer (and where the bride took most of her classes!)
The California Academy of Sciences is a great science museum located in Golden Gate Park in San Francisco. Even if you don't visit the museum itself, the area around it is beautiful and well worth exploring. Nearby the museum is the Japanese Tea Garden, where Brett proposed!
The bride & groom's favorite vineyard in Napa Valley is Regusci. If you are coming in a few days early and want to explore wine country, we recommend stopping by for a tasting! Tasting appointments fill up quickly, so book in advance!
The hills around Berkeley are great to hike around, and a feature worth stopping by is the Berkeley Rose Garden! You'll also be close to the Space Sciences Laboratory, where the groom works his day (and sometimes night) job as a rocket scientist.
