Jacob and Elizabeth met in March of 2022 on an airplane bound for Charlotte, North Carolina from Nashville, TN. Elizabeth was on her way to her friend Hailee’s wedding while Jacob was going to visit family and attend his fraternity's alumni pig picking. This just happened to be Elizabeth’s first flight! Jacob had flown many times before but still to this day is terrified of it, yet he got his wits and acted like a pro to try and comfort the pretty girl next to him.

Jacob and Elizabeth talked for the whole hour and a half plane ride before it quickly came to an end! Once they exited the plane, Jacob walked Elizabeth to baggage claim where they exchanged a hug, phone numbers, and words in hope of seeing each other again. Jacob immediately called his best friend, and now best man, Franklin Bogle to tell him that he had just met his future wife. Once Elizabeth and Jacob were back in Nashville it only took two dates - the first being a local Mexican restaurant and the second being Joe’s Crab Shack - to feel as if God had a bigger purpose for their paths crossing. Ever since then Jacob and Elizabeth have been set in the fact that they want to do this life together, with God as their foundation.
