Our ceremony and reception are taking place on the property at The Wedding Retreat in Plant City, Florida!

Logistics

Our ceremony begins promptly at 4pm. Please arrive 30 minutes prior to park, say your hellos and find a seat.The ceremony and cocktail hour will be held in the outdoor areas on the property. If there is rain, the ceremony and cocktail hour will be held in the reception area which is covered. There is no AC or heating in the reception area. Typically, the weather during the month of November is warm during the day and can be a bit chilly at night. Our weather can be very unpredictable and changes very often. Please check the weather for Plant City, FL regularly and plan accordingly. We recommend bringing a light layer just in case.

This hotel is about a 20 minute drive to The Wedding Retreat, 15 minutes from Tampa's downtown area, and about 45 minutes from the Foelker family's house in Parrish, FL.

Hampton Inn & Suites Tampa-North

This hotel is located in central downtown Tampa, close to the Tampa River Walk. Hyatt Place provides a resort-style experience, complete with a rooftop pool, restaurant, and complimentary breakfast. This hotel is within a 25 minute drive to The Wedding Retreat. *No rooms have been reserved at this location

Airbnb and VRBO Rentals

Airbnb/VRBO rental properties are plentiful in the Tampa area. Rates vary depending on the property and size of your party. The Isaac Family is renting houses in the Temple Terrace area in North Tampa. This area is quieter with a more suburban feel and is within a 25 minute drive to The Wedding Retreat. Other areas to consider renting properties are: Downtown Tampa, FL - A 25 minute drive to The Wedding Retreat. Closest to Tampa's famous River Walk, stadiums, boat tours, restaurants and bars, and a bustling city atmosphere.Plant City, FL - Closest option to The Wedding Retreat with an 'Old Florida' feel.Clearwater, FL - Closer to Florida's beautiful Gulf Coast beaches! This option is about a 45 minute drive from The Wedding Retreat (check traffic times as this may vary).Parrish, FL - Closer to the Foelker Family house, farthest from The Wedding Retreat about an hour drive away.

Tampa International Airport (TPA)TPA is the closest airport to The Wedding Retreat and lodging in Tampa. Car rentals and Uber/Lyft pickups are available for transportation. St. Pete-Clearwater International Airport (PIE)PIE is a smaller airport about 30 minutes from the Tampa downtown area and about 45 minutes to The Wedding Retreat in Plant City. Car rentals and Uber/Lyft pickups are available for transportation.

Transportation

Transportation to and from the venue is not provided. Car rentals are available through Tampa International Airport or St. Pete-Clearwater International Airport. Uber and Lyft are very active in the area and is a reliable option for transportation to and from the venue. There is parking on site at the venue if you choose to drive. Please drive responsibly.

Travel times to the venue vary depending on where you are staying, however, all highways in the state become very congested and traffic can be very time consuming, especially on the weekends (up to 45 minute delays). Please check travel times throughout the day and plan accordingly. Arriving early is encouraged!
