Our Wedding

Our story began on a warm Halloween night in 2022, at a Manhattan apartment facing the Empire State building. Liz had opted to go as Minnie Mouse, looking stylish in a red polka dot dress to attend a party with her friend Erica. Leland was wearing a sweaty wig and an Iron Maiden t-shirt, clinging to a box of White Claws. This turned out to be one of his best decisions of his life as Liz needed to talk to Leland to get a drink. Once she did, Liz discovered another New Yorker with a fierce love of Philadelphia and endless TV references. Leland was almost too stunned by Liz's gorgeous green eyes to think, but managed to string together a conversation until he mustered the courage to ask for Liz's instagram account. She laughed and said she didn't have instagram so Leland needed to persist and ask for her actual phone number. From that moment on, they had found the perfect person to explore New York with, then around the country, next the world, and finally life.

For our out-of-town guests, we’ve reserved two hotel room blocks nearby for your convenience. Both hotels are a short drive from the wedding venue and offer comfortable accommodations. Shuttle Transportation

To make getting to and from the wedding easy, complimentary shuttle service will be provided for guests staying at both hotels. Courtyard by Marriott Philadelphia Plymouth Meeting: Shuttle departs at 4:00PMMarriott Philadelphia West: Shuttle departs at 4:00 PM At the end of the evening, shuttle service will run back to both hotels, making stops at each location so everyone can travel safely and comfortably. We encourage guests planning to use the shuttle to be ready a few minutes early to ensure an on-time departure.

When and where is the wedding?

Our wedding will take place on May 9, 2026 at Manor House at Prophecy Creek. The ceremony will begin at 5:00 PM and will be held on site.

What time should I arrive?

We recommend arriving 20–30 minutes early to allow time for seating. The ceremony will start promptly at 5:00 PM.

Is there transportation provided?

Yes! Complimentary shuttle service will be provided from both hotel room block locations to the venue and back at the end of the evening. Shuttle departure times and details are listed on the Travel page.

Where should I stay?

We’ve reserved room blocks at two nearby hotels. Details and booking links can be found on the Travel page. We recommend booking early, as availability is limited. For guests who would prefer a city stay, Philadelphia is a short drive away and offers many hotel options as well as Airbnb rentals. Please note, however, that shuttle service will be provided only to and from the listed hotel blocks.

Is there parking at the venue?

Yes, parking is available on site for guests who choose to drive.

What is the dress code?

The dress code is formal attire. We suggest dressing comfortably while keeping the celebration in mind. Since portions of the event will be outdoors, please plan accordingly.
