Where should we bring/send our wedding gift?
We're excited to celebrate our big day with you! Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift, but if you're looking for gift ideas, we've registered for items we need for our home. Please check the 'Registry' tab. You can have gifts delivered to our home at 4273 Metropolitan Dr, Cleveland, OH. Additionally, a wedding card box will be available at the reception.
Will there be other events to attend on the wedding weekend?
Yes, we're having a welcoming party to kick off the celebration the day before the wedding, on Friday, September 6, 2024, at 7pm-10pm at the Strongsville Gootee House.
Have you reserved blocks of rooms at one or more hotels?
Absolutely! We are so grateful that you traveled for our wedding, please check 'Accommodations' tab for more information.

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?
Our ceremony and cocktail hour will be on outdoor garden area and reception will be indoor.
What is the easiest way to get to and from your wedding venue?
You can use your personal vehicle, as we have a parking lot available for our guests. Alternatively, our venue is conveniently located for ride-sharing services like Uber and Lyft.
Is there parking available near your wedding venue?
We have a dedicated parking lot for our guests at the back of the restaurant on Riverside Dr side.
What is the dress code for your wedding?
The dress code for our wedding is formal attire. We suggest to wear a suit in any color, a cocktail dress or a nice pantsuit.
What type of food will be served at your wedding?
Following the cocktail hour, we will serve a sit-down dinner featuring a choice of entrée, accompanied by mashed potatoes, side vegetables, salad, and bread.
Am I allowed to bring my children?
Unfortunately, we cannot host any children at our wedding. We appreciate your understanding.
What is the wedding day itinerary?
Our ceremony will begin at 3:30pm, followed by a cocktail hour at 4:00pm. Dinner will be served at 5:00pm, allowing us to kick off the dance party at 6:00pm.
Will there be a time gap between your wedding ceremony and reception?
Yes, our ceremony and reception will be held at the same venue, with a one-hour cocktail hour in between.
Could you suggest places to eat, drink and see while I am in town for your wedding?
Absolutely! We highly recommend visiting some of our favorites: Dewey's Pizza, Joe's Deli, Merwin's Wharf, Hola Tacos Lakewood, the Cleveland Museum of Art, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and the Metro Parks.
Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?
We invite you to be fully present with us. Please keep all devices turned off during the ceremony. However feel free to take any pictures during the night and don't forget to share them with #GOOTEES on social media. We'll also provide a QR code for you to upload and share your pictures with us.
