Our first date — New Year’s Eve 2018! We reconnected over Facebook and Instagram after a few years and got coffee on one of Elizabeth’s trips to Texas to visit her sister (thanks Ellen!). One thing led to another, and Elizabeth found herself in Waco for NYE 2018 enjoying a home-cooked meal and cocktails at Dichotomy with a cute guy from UBC!

A very important milestone— Elizabeth’s first Bama game! Homecoming in Tuscaloosa! Roll Tide! Elizabeth still doesn’t *quite* get the obsession, but she’s always down for a theme outfit.

After a year of dating long-distance and countless hours of driving on I-20, Geoff took a huge leap of faith and moved to Mississippi! He began serving at Parkway Hills & spent a lot less time in the car and a lot more time with Elizabeth!

Geoff proposed on Thanksgiving 2020 while we were on vacation with his family in Rogers, Arkansas. We were surrounded by photos of us throughout our relationship and the candleholder is the bottle of wine we shared on our first date!

With our best boy Mulligan near the beach where we plan to be married in October! Port Saint Joe, Florida holds such special significance for Geoff’s family, and we can’t wait to introduce Elizabeth’s family to it as well for our intimate ceremony on October 17th! But no need to feel left out of the fun— we’re planning a COVID-safe bash for all our loved ones near and far once it’s safe to have one back in Jackson soon! Details TBD!
