Our Wedding

Let's rewind a bit! Bradley and Lizzie met on Lizzie's first day of high school in August of 2016. After passing Lizzie in the hallway, Bradley began finding ways to talk to her. Although they started out as friends, by January of 2017, they had gone on their first date, and on February 10, 2017, they were officially dating. The first year and a half of their relationship was fairly simple. Both of them were in high school and saw each other every single day in the halls. Bradley graduated high school in 2018, while Lizzie still had two more years of school. Bradley began pursuing his undergraduate degree, but after one semester of college, he decided to join the Army National Guard. In January of 2019, Bradley left for 4 months of basic training in Georgia. He had no phone and no means of communication besides mailing letters home and the occasional 1-minute phone call. While this was one of the hardest times in their relationship, it taught them both so much and pushed them to grow closer. (Lizzie also doesn't mind being able to hold on to all of the letters he wrote as keepsakes). When Bradley returned in May, they had the summer together before Bradley went back to school in Pittsburgh the following year. In June of 2020, Lizzie graduated high school. She chose to attend The Ohio State University for her undergraduate degree, which meant that they would be doing long-distance for a few years. Visits back and forth helped to ease the stresses of being apart from each other. The summers became busy and no longer were a time of relief where they could see each other. Lizzie spent Summer of 2022 in California and Summer of 2023 in New Jersey for internships while Bradley remained in Pennsylvania. Although Bradley was able to visit once each summer, their time spent together was very different from what they were used to in high school. After both internships, Lizzie would return to Ohio shortly after coming home. Fast forward to now! Bradley graduated from Chatham University in 2023 and has been working in Pittsburgh ever since. Lizzie graduated from Ohio State in 2024 and moved to Florida for her post-graduate job (more long-distance briefly)! On the day before Lizzie's college graduation, Bradley surprised Lizzie and proposed in front of Mirror Lake on Ohio State's campus. It was the most amazing evening spent with family and calling friends to surprise them with the news (Bradley only told family his plans beforehand). Bradley and Lizzie are so grateful that they have been a part of so many phases in each other's lives. Because of that, they have been able to meet each other's high school friends, college friends, military friends, work friends, etc. They are excited to celebrate with each and every person who has supported them over the years, and they look forward to a lifetime of happiness together!

For guests who will be flying to attend our wedding, the closest airport is Pittsburgh International Airport (PIT). It is about 20 minutes from either hotel with a reserved room block.

Hotels with a Kemerer/Brncic Wedding Block:

The bride and groom will be staying here on their wedding night. Following the wedding festivities, the bride and groom invite anyone wanting to continue the celebration to join them at the bar of the AC Hotel for an "after party." Guests who choose to stay at this hotel will be able to go straight to their rooms afterward. Guests who choose to stay at the other hotel block will be in walking distance of their hotel. Pittsburgh's Strip District

The Strip District is packed with fun things to do for guests who are coming in from out of town. That's why we chose hotels located in close proximity to the area! Although you aren't fully in downtown Pittsburgh, you get the same vibe. We have put together a list of some of the most talked about activities and restaurants nearby.

If you have never been to Pittsburgh and experienced a Primanti's sandwich, you are missing out. This is one of the places Pittsburgh is best known for! You'll see why fries on sandwiches and salads are symbolic of Pittsburgh.

If you are looking for a good brunch spot, Pamela's is your best bet. If you ask Lizzie, you NEED to get crepes, but if you ask Bradley, he'll probably tell you to steer clear of crepes lol.

Guests who are coming for a few extra nights and want a fun activity should check out the Puttshack in the Strip District. It's fairly new to Pittsburgh, but the reviews have been great, and it gives you something to do besides eat or shop!

The North Shore

The North Shore is known for hosting both the Pittsburgh Pirates and the Pittsburgh Steelers. Although it's not baseball season, we think PNC Park is the most beautiful stadium in baseball and still worth seeing! You may also be able to catch the Pitt Panthers at Acrisure Stadium or the Pittsburgh Steelers!

You can either take the Monongahela Incline or Duquesne Incline to the top of Mount Washington and get an amazing view of Pittsburgh. If you take the Monongahela Incline, be sure to check out the 218 Grandview overlook. If you take the Duquesne Incline, check out the Washington overlook.

Market Square is full of restaurants, shops, and markets. If you are wanting to walk around and just pop into places, this is a good place to go. Given the time of year that our wedding takes place, you might even get lucky and see some holiday decorations going up (and a huge Christmas tree).

The Point is infamous in Pittsburgh as the point where the 3 rivers meet (Monongahela, Allegheny, and Ohio). It's a beautiful spot to take pictures and get a view of some of the major stadiums and skyscrapers.
