Our Wedding

Toby and I met in July 2011, shortly after I graduated from Colorado School of Mines. After graduation I took a job with Halliburton and was soon sent to North Dakota to work on a drilling rig. I won't lie, I was a little scared and intimidated at first. I asked myself many times "what did I just get my self into.?" But on that first hitch in Watford City, North Dakota I met the man I would fall in love with!I walked into the office on location, and all eyes were immediately on me... I don't think they had seen many girls on location. Shortly after that the lead directional driller (Toby) introduced himself to me. At that moment I would have never imagined we would be where we are today. We drilled several wells together, spent casing breaks hanging out , and had many safety meetings at the PDQ. We even caught a concert... The fabulous Schizoid Johnny. We still laugh about this one... Needless to say we became very good friends on that location, and started a relationship that would grow and change over time. Six years later, many trips back and forth across the United States, and countless minutes on the phone, we are getting married! We are very excited to spend the rest of our lives together, and to share this special day with each of you.

Natalie is the bride's little sister.  Elizabeth could not imagine getting married without her right by her side.  They will always be best friends.

Peter is Toby's brother.  They are the best of friends, and would do anything for each other.  Toby is very happy to have him by his side when he marries Elizabeth.

Peter is Toby's cousin.  Peter and Toby grew up together on the Colony.  Toby is very happy to have Peter by his side on his wedding day.  

Kayla has been one of the bride's best friends since childhood.  They grew up together on the softball field.  Although they now live in different states, they remain very close and when they get together it is like old times all over again.

Cindy has become one of the bride's best friends, since Elizabeth moved to Houston for work.  They hit it off right away, and now find themselves together most of the time eating fajitas, drinking margaritas, and dancing the night away at country concerts and the rodeo.

Ellery and Toby became good friends shortly after Toby purchased the Lakeside, Montana property that is located next to Ellery's parents home.  The Newton's have become very close with Toby, and Ellery is like a brother.  Toby is looking forward to having Ellery by his side when we get married

Brecklyn is Toby's daughter.  Both Elizabeth and Toby are excited to have her with them on their wedding day, and to become a family.

Mathew is Elizabeth's little brother.  Mathew and Elizabeth have been by each others sides through thick and thin.  Toby and Elizabeth were very excited to have Mathew as a part of their big day, however Mathew is a Captain in the United States Marine Corps, and he will be deployed at the time of the wedding.  He will be in our thoughts and prayers, and Toby looks forward to growing his friendship with Mathew.

Harper is the daughter of Elizabeth's best friend Kayla.  Auntie Liz is excited to have Harper be a part of her big day, and Harper will probably steel the show!

Colorado School of Mines is just down the street from the venue. Take a walk on campus, catch some of the football game, or explore. Elizabeth went to college at Mines, and it is a beautiful campus.

Explore Washington Ave. There are many shops, restaurants, and bars.

Take a drive up into clear creek canyon and visit Black Hawk or Central City. There you will find an old mining town, casinos, and historic sites.
