Charlottesville is where it all began. Elizabeth had just graduated from Wesleyan, and Bryan was based in C-ville, working for Piedmont Airlines. They "met" online before online dating was a thing. Their first date was at South Street Brewery in downtown C-ville, where Bryan talked about planes... and cars... and Elizabeth wondered if this was going to work...

But after their second date, Elizabeth was sold. In the years that followed, Bryan's work took him to Philly before he moved down south to Charlotte, while Elizabeth had a brief stint in New Jersey and then moved to Arlington, VA for work, and then on to Williamsburg for three years of law school before making the big move to Charlotte. Those years were full of travels (including many standby flights), excitement, lots of laughter, and love.

In October of 2017, on their seventh anniversary, Bryan proposed to Elizabeth while picnicking in front of a beautiful lagoon at the Biltmore in Asheville. Now they can't wait to make it official and to celebrate with all of their friends and family!
