These are some of the activities we suggest but there are many more available such as running/walking trails, croquet, bocce, tennis, horseback riding, guided outdoor adventures. For the kids there is a playground across from Buffalo’s and a tree house near RT’s.

PORCHING Begins at 4 p.m., Friday and Saturday, on the Inn’s screened in porch. Enjoy cookies, lemonade and socializing. Wine is available as well.

MONTAGE SPA Set beside serene waterways and moss laden oak trees, Spa Montage will lull you into a peaceful state of mind, body and heart.

SWIMMING The River House Pool proves ideal for swimming laps or leisurely lounging. At the Inn, the Family Pool and Spa Fitness Pool provide additional options for aquatic relaxation or exercise. Complimentary towels and sunscreen are provided. The family-friendly pool has bar service and a snack shack for kids, as well as outdoor ping pong and foosball tables.

KAYAKING Complimentary ride on the lagoon system, nice leisure trail. Sign up at the Carriage house next to the Riverhouse.

FISHING Complimentary off the lagoon dock, stop by the Carriage House to pick up equipment.

BIKING Each guest has a complimentary bike at their home or cottage. There are many places to ride and explore around the property.

FITNESS There is a state of the art fitness center at the Inn including a movement for spinning, yoga and palates. Fitness facilities open 24 hours of the day

GOLF Take in the majesty of century-old live oaks and serene native landscapes as you linger on the scenic, 18-hole Jack Nicklaus Signature Course. SHOOTING CLUB The Palmetto Bluff Shooting Club features 13 sporting clays stations winding through an expansive 40-acre forest. An elevated and covered 5-stand station, plus a wobble deck field make for a total of 15 shooting sites.

RIVER HOUSE LOUNGE At the Lounge you can enjoy the May River view while relaxing on the veranda, or you can sit by fire pits in the evening. MAY RIVER GOLF GRILL Nestled alongside the pristine fairways and stately, 100-year-old live oaks of the May River Golf Club, the May River Golf Bar and Grill is an ideal spot for casual dining in a relaxing, sun-lit atmosphere. JESSAMINE Is one of Montage’s newest restaurants, and considered the heart of dining on the Bluff. Jessamine offers daily dining of exquisite southern cuisine and intimate indoor and outdoor seating on the Jessamine Veranda, as well as the well-appointed private dining room, “Vine.” Breakfast welcomes guest from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Sunday Brunch: 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Lunch: 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and Dinner is served from 6:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. For reservations, call 843.706.6210.

OCTAGON BAR & GATHERING PLACE is located between the lobby lounge and Jessamine. The octagon bar serves as a social hub for all guests. They offer a light fare from 3:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and cocktails are served until 12:00 a.m.

FORE & AFT Is in the backyard of the Inn overlooking the lagoon. They offer lunch from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. whereas they serve drinks from the bar until 5:00 p.m.

BY THE POOL The pools at the River House and Canoe Club serve lunch from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The bar is open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
