Our Wedding

In the fall of 2020, while living in Delphos, Ohio, Elizabeth went looking for love in the far off land of Columbus where she found the ever-charming and roguishly handsome Garrett. The two began a long distance courtship, taking turns making the 90 minute drive between their homes. They quickly fell in love and in the winter of 2022, Elizabeth took the leap and moved to Columbus where she and Garrett continue to live. Whether they're on wonderful adventures to far off places like Hawaii and Belgium or enjoying all the things that Columbus has to offer; Garrett and Elizabeth have treasured every day together. We are so excited to celebrate our wedding day together with our friends and family!

Columbus is a great place for activities so if you are in town early for wedding week, check out a few of our favorite things and restaurants:

We cannot recommend Ginger Rabbit enough for a jazzy hangout. Tickets are often required in advance, but there is live music and great vibes at this gin bar downtown. Garrett rates the bathrooms 10/10.

Sidebar is our favorite restaurant in town. Serving South American influenced tapas, they have an excellent happy hour menu during the week.

The Columbus Library is a very special place. The building downtown hosts a massive collection of books, movies, art, and more! Grab a coffee at the cafe and browse the 3 stories of fun.

Columbus Metropolitan Library

Gemut is an excellent brewpub serving German style food and beers. Check out the stained glass behind the bar!

If you're looking for a world class sandwich, Wario's is the place for you. Serving east-coast style subs, they have a set menu of classics and rotating specials Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.

Wario's Beef and Pork

Crooked Can is a brewery and food hall in the main hub of Hilliard. This is the recommendation closest to our venue. They have a great selection of food vendors and are in a walkable area of the downtown.
