Our Wedding

Liz- I met Lance at The Wheel Bar in Estes. My friend and I had just gotten off work at The Stanley and went for beers. We were sitting at the bar and she was loudly trying to talk me into downloading Tinder. To prove a point that meeting a guy in person was just as easy I wrote my number on a bar napkin for the “cute bartender in the north face shirt”. He texted later that day and asked if I was the blonde or brunette..obviously brunette and he replied “good”. 😂 We had our first date about month later. He told me he played guitar and I told him I loved to go hiking..didn’t take either of us long to figure out neither of those things are true. We made it official about 3 weeks later and as July 17th it will be as official as you can get!

Lance- I was working at a bar in Estes Park at the time. It wasn't a very busy day, and I saw the most beautiful woman and her friend walk in. They sat at the other end of the bar. I kept looking down at her, and thinking how beautiful she was. I knew I needed to talk to her, but I was too nervous. I eventually talked myself into saying something. When I got over to her I choked and asked if she needed another beer. She said no, as her beer was about 70% full. Embarrassed, I walked away. I walked by her a couple more times and never said anyhing. I noticed she was writing her number down on a bar napkin napkin though. When they left I walked over and read the napkin. I was referred to as the guy in the North Face shirt. I texted her shortly after. It took a couple weeks but we finally went on our first date. We met for drinks at the bar I worked at in case she didn’t show up (again). I was really nervous, and said a lot of stupid things. Liz won’t agree, but she looked so beautiful that day in her work clothes covered in baking flour. When we found out we were both Republicans and Disney lovers I knew I loved her 😉. The rest is history and I get to marry my best friend July 17th.
