From Liz: "I was really excited to be spending time with Tanner and his family. Chetek has always meant a lot to them, so it was wonderful to be able to experience it with them. Our first day, we rented a boat and took it out on lake. That afternoon, while on the lake, Tanner pulled out the ring and got down on one knee. An expletive or two may have come out of my mouth, before saying yes. After seven years, I still wasn't expecting it. Looking back, I should have realized something was going on. His mom and Sarah Drey bought champagne and cake on our grocery run, and I was OBLIVIOUS. I had no idea. It was the best way to start a vacation, and it was at such a meaningful place."
