THE MEET:

John-Luke and I met through mutual friends. We could spend hours over the phone talking and sharing our days, in person however it was a little awkward at first... It took a few dates but we soon remembered the ease of our phone conversations and allowed that to move into our in person talks.

WHEN WE KNEW WE WERE IN LOVE:

After 2 months of dating John-Luke I was talking to my friend Ryleigh and she stopped me and said I can tell you love him. That was the moment I realized that I was falling in love with him.

I realized I was in love with Elizabeth when she invited me to Americus to come to a sorority PARTY. That was the night that I asked her out. For me it was the moment that I knew I wanted to spend time with her.

THE ENGAGEMENT:

WOW this one is for the books. John-Luke planned an engagement that had family and friends and a destination. He knew I loved the beach and my family. He had his mom and sisters and their husbands and kids, and my mom and dad and some of my closest friends all come to be a part. When I stepped off the steps of Sharkey's restaurant onto the sand and saw all of them standing there and John-Luke at the very end waiting for me my nerves went crazy. It was so romantic and sweet and I knew the moment I looked into his eyes just how nervous he was as well. It was one of the sweetest and most amazing moments of my life.

FUN FACTS ABOUT THEM:

They, together, have a dog named Saban. If you cannot tell by that name, John-Luke is an Alabama fan. They just so happened to grow up not even five minutes away from each other. John-Luke and Elizabeth are very family focused, they are always on the phone with someone in their family.
