Our story began at the University of Oklahoma—Boomer Sooner!!! During the summer of 2021, Ben was working in Colorado while Elizabeth was somewhere on a beach, soaking up her last carefree days before starting nursing school. A mutual friend insisted we had to meet, but we both laughed it off, knowing this wasn’t her first attempt at matchmaking.

Sure enough, the first week of school arrived, and Ben couldn’t help but find Elizabeth that very first weekend on Campus Corner. We immediately hit it off, and Ben found every excuse possible to spend time with her during those early weeks. Within just a few months, we were already meeting each other’s families, laughing until we cried, and loving every moment together.

From lake days with Elizabeth surfing waves on Ben’s shoulders, college date parties, beach trips, ski adventures, movie nights, traveling across the world to South Africa, and even watching Ben try Pilates, we’ve made countless memories we will cherish forever. As Ben would say, Elizabeth is the most loving, passionate, and loyal person who makes life 100x more fun, and according to her, she’s also "the funniest person she knows!" In true Elizabeth fashion, she would say Ben is “such a sweetie!!!,” meaning she is endlessly grateful for his loving, caring, encouraging, and patient heart.

We thank God every day for bringing us together and feel incredibly blessed by the friendships and families that have supported us along the way. We are so excited for our next chapter and cannot wait to celebrate all the special memories still to come. April 2026 can’t come soon enough and we are so excited to see you there for an unforgettable celebration!
