The wedding ceremony and reception will take place at the same venue: The Barns at Elizabeth Farms, 262 Hopeland Road, Lititz, PA 17543. The venue is wheelchair/handicap accessible; the reception portion of the venue is almost completely on one level, and there is an outdoor patio area that is a few stairs down from the main reception area, but there is also a ramp for accessibility. The ceremony will be taking place outside on the grounds, and the venue will provide transportation via Gator to/from the ceremony site for our guests who need additional assistance.

UPDATE- THERE WILL BE TRANSPORTATION PROVIDED! The easiest way to get to and from the wedding venue will be via the bus transportation service; a bus will shuttle guests from the Holiday Inn in Downtown Lancaster to the wedding venue ahead of the ceremony at 3:30PM and will also transport guests back to this hotel following the reception. We've added a question on whether or not your party will use the transportation service to determine the number of buses needed. There is also plenty of parking at the venue, although please be mindful that you will not be able to leave your vehicle at the venue overnight following the reception.

The wedding ceremony will take place outside on the grounds- please plan your footwear accordingly! The reception will take place "inside" the venue- there is a permanent tent where the main reception festivities will take place that is attached to the venue's barn. There is also an outdoor patio area where guests can drink cocktails, hang out, and play a few yard games provided by the venue (e.g., Giant Jenga and cornhole).

Whatever you want! We are not imposing any dress code- we just want to celebrate our wedding with all of you, so wear whatever you'd like.

The weather in this part of Pennsylvania in October will likely be mild temperature (think anywhere from high 50s to low 70s) with a potential for rain.

If your wedding invitation states your name and a guest, then the answer is yes!

Yes! We are allowing children at our wedding. When you're filling out your RSVP on our website, please denote if you'll be bringing your kids along. That being said, our caterer and dessert vendors will not be providing specific food for infants or toddlers, so please plan accordingly.

Our food caterer is Mission BBQ and our dessert caterer is Lancaster Cupcake. There will be some vegetarian and vegan options in the Mission BBQ foods and will be labeled as such. There will be a few different cupcake options, and one of them will be gluten-free.

We're planning on going out in Downtown Lancaster following the reception- any and all are welcome to keep the celebrations going with us!

We will be doing an unplugged wedding ceremony, so no phones or photos will be allowed during that time, but cocktail hour and the reception are fair game. And yes, you can absolutely post your photos on social media!
