Elizabeth and Ashutosh will be arriving in India at the beginning of November. We will be getting our outfits and preparing for the events. You are more than welcome to join us with the shopping and other preparations, just let us know!

We will arrange for transportation from Pune (the local city) to the wedding venue.

In the late morning, join the bride as she has mehndi (henna) applied for the wedding.

In the evening help us celebrate our engagement as the first event of the wedding. There will be a traditional Hindu engagement ceremony.

The Haldi ceremony will take place in the late morning. This ceremony involves guests placing turmeric on the couple to symbolize starting their life together.

Sangeet will start in the evening. This is similar to a reception, with dancing, food and cake!

There will be two wedding ceremonies on this day. In the morning, please join us in a traditional Hindu ceremony to join our lives together. In the late afternoon, please join us as we take our vows in a traditional American ceremony.

We will arrange for transportation from the wedding venue back to the city (or wherever you need to go).
