What time should I arrive at the Ceremony?
We recommend arriving between 12:30 and 12:45 to give you plenty of time to find your seat before the ceremony begins.
Where can I stay?
We have a room block available at the Drake Hotel. Please check the Travel & Hotels section on our website for more details.
We've also recommended several other hotels within walking distance of the venue.
What should I do in between the ceremony and reception?
Check out the Things to Do tab for some of the bride and groom's favorite activities and places to spend time in the city.
But if you'd rather head straight to a bar we'd recommend the following:
Gaslight - sports bar in Lincoln Park (8-minute walk from the church)
Shenanagan's - an Irish pub on Division Street (12-minute walk from the hotel)
Hopsmith Tavern - a high-energy restaurant and bar in Gold Coast (11-minute walk from the hotel)
Coq d'Or (the Drake Hotel Bar) - this was the second establishment in Chicago to serve alcohol after Prohibition. A cozy, nostalgic space with wood paneling and leather accents.
How do I RSVP?
There will be an RSVP tab on the wedding website after formal invitations are sent.
Will the Hotel have Parking?
Yes, the hotel has guest parking.
Overnight Valet Parking at the Drake is $75 with 24-hour vehicle access available.
Overnight Self-Parking is $53 at our parking partner's covered garage across the street at 900 N. Michigan with in and out privileges (validated at the front desk up until 2:00 PM the day of checkout).
Day Rate Valet Parking for guests not staying overnight is $31.
SpotHero may also have alternative parking options near the hotel that may be more price-friendly.
Will the Church have Parking?
Should you choose to drive, there is a free lot for wedding guests directly in front of the church. However, we recommend taking an Uber, Lyft or public transportation directly to the church as lot spots and street parking are limited.
Are we registered anywhere?
If you would like to give a gift, we have a few options (1) we're registered at Crate & Barrel and Bloomingdale's (you can find these on the Registry tab of our wedding website), (2) you can donate to our honeymoon fund, or (3) drop an envelope in our box at the wedding. Note: please make any checks out to only the groom ("Stefan Harris")
Are children welcome?
We love children, but we want our day to be your night off so you can enjoy it to the fullest. The ceremony and reception will be Adults-Only aside from our flower girl participating in the wedding.
Can I bring a plus one?
We hope you understand that we are only able to accommodate those listed on the online RSVP list.
Will there be an open bar?
Yes, the drinks are on us and the hangover is on you—get ready to celebrate!
