Andrew moved in with his Uncle to help him build his house in Peck Idaho.

Meanwhile, Elizabeth was working two jobs, as a Preschool Teacher and a waitress, commuting to Lewiston from Orofino where she lived at the time.

On Sept 27th, Elizabeth wrecked her car on Highway 12 on her way home to Orofino. Elizabeth was fine but her car was not! She spent the next day at home and her Dad stayed home to help her with the insurance process.

That same day, Andrew's Uncle John called Elizabeth's Dad and asked to borrow the cement mixer that he had. Elizabeth's Dad said yes and that John could come pick it up that same day. A little while later John showed up to the Ott house with his Nephew Andrew to pickup the cement mixer and John started a conversation by asking why we were both home, because we normally both work during the day. Elizabeth's Dad told John they were home because she wrecked her car and without a minute of hesitation John told her he could use his extra car until she got into her rental on Monday.

The conversation went on for a while and John remembered how Elizabeth had a barn dance she was looking forward to and she still didn't have anyone to go with her, so he mentioned that his Nephew loved to swing dance and he said Andrew was actually really good at it. Long story short we went to the barn dance a month later and had a blast! For new years they took a trip to meridian where Andrew's parents lived, so Elizabeth could meet his family. It was then that his parents told him buy a ring.

A couple weeks later they went ring shopping and Elizabeth got to pick out her rings! It got sent away to be resized and a few short weeks later on February 3rd Andrew proposed on a secluded beach near Greer Idaho.
