Elizabeth first laid her eyes on Bobby at a Police Explorer conference in the Dells. For those of you that don’t know, they both have a passion for mentoring juveniles that wish to have a future in law enforcement.

Months went by and Bobby and Elizabeth kept their friendship professional. Their police explorers eventually took it upon themselves to make them exchange phone numbers at a future Exploring event. Both were so far out of their element with dating that they decided to drive hours just for an hour to have coffee with each other.

Their several hour drives continued for just an hour lunch or coffee date, until they decided they couldn’t let each other be. Bobby and Elizabeth slowly moved closer to each other, selling their homes, and changing jobs to spend more and more time together.

Elizabeth fell in love with not only Bobby, but his beautiful little boy, Gannon. Bobby decided he couldn’t live without Elizabeth and decided to take her to her favorite spot in Door County, Cave Point, to propose to her (with Gannon’s permission of course). Elizabeth of course said yes! After a year of planning, they are so excited for you all to join on their special day.
