Elizabeth and Connor first met back in the summer of 2019 at a group dinner with mutual friends. Connor was on top of his game that night and kept Elizabeth laughing the entire time. He asked for her number, but the timing wasn’t right, so she politely declined. However, after some convincing, she did take his number. Fast forward nearly two years later, and after several more run-ins with each other, Elizabeth finally reached out to Connor and asked him out. He was thrilled and quickly planned their first date at Wooster’s Garden in Houston. Their connection was instant, and from that day on they were practically inseparable. The only hiccup came when Elizabeth discovered Connor was allergic to cats, which wasn’t ideal considering she had a six-month-old kitten named Stella. Thankfully, he turned out to not be too allergic, and he and Stella have since become besties (minus the occasional scratch or bite). Over the years, Connor and Elizabeth have shared endless laughs and plenty of adventures. They love exploring new places, trying unique restaurants, and traveling together whenever they can. After plenty of anticipation, Connor proposed to Elizabeth on November 22, 2024. He planned the perfect surprise engagement, starting with a sleepover at a nice hotel with her three best friends while he prepared for the big day. The next morning, her friends brought her to the Museum of Fine Arts Sculpture Garden to “take fun pictures together.” When they arrived, Connor was waiting in a suit, standing by rose petals arranged in a heart shape on the ground. He asked her to marry him, and she of course said yes - it was the easiest decision ever. The surprises didn’t end there. Later that day, she was greeted with a celebration dinner at one of their favorite restaurants surrounded by close friends and family, including Liz’s siblings who hadn’t all been in the same city for several years. It was the perfect day, filled with love, laughter, and so much joy. Now Connor and Liz are beyond excited to celebrate their marriage with all of you and, of course, have an amazing time doing it!
