Our story actually starts roughly ten years ago... We met through our churches' Youth Groups. Steven was attending the youth group at Mary Immaculate in Bellport and Lizzy was attending the youth group at Good Shepherd in Holbrook. At the time they were seeing other people and did not connect just yet. Until they were in their last year of the youth groups they ended up attending the same retreat in Glen Cove. They were then paired in a group together and exchanged numbers. Fast forward to about two years later on July 4th, Steven complimented Lizzy on her picture of the fireworks.

Only one week later, he asked her on their first date. They went mini golfing together in Deer Park. He admired her competitive spirit, her beauty and grace while she was hitting multiple "hole in one's." Even though she swore she was never good at mini golf.

From then on, a beautiful love story unfolded. They went from being immature teenagers, too scared to jump into a relationship to having an inseparable bond full of adventures that continue on...
