This is a formal event. Our wedding colors are dusty blues and pinks with gold accents. While you are welcome to complement our colors, feel free to wear whatever color you feel best in! (as long as it is not white, that's for the bride😉)

Women: Floor-length dresses. Tee-length dresses. Jumpsuits. Pantsuits.

Men: Suit and tie with dress pants. You could wear a tux... but you might be the only one!

Our StoryWe both moved onto the UW-Whitewater campus three days early to join ULEAD, a leadership program designed to give freshmen a head start through team-building, mentorship, and shared experiences. We were placed in the “Lilac” group, and while we were just two strangers at the time, we quickly bonded over shared values and late-night conversations. The ULEAD mentors used to joke that students often met their future spouses through the program. Turns out, they were right. COVID policies were still in place at the time, so when I [Elizabeth] tested positive at the start of the semester, I had to report anyone I’d been in contact with. Christian Isely was the only name I knew. That unexpected twist led to both of us being quarantined in a separate residence hall, where we spent hours watching movies over FaceTime with nothing else to do. What began as a friendship soon grew into something more. Our first date was on September 24, 2021, at Cozumel in Whitewater—a favorite spot for Mexican food among students. From that moment on, we spent all of college together, supporting each other through challenging classes, business competitions, personal growth, and graduation. Today, I [Elizabeth] work at Inpro in Muskego as a Marketing Coordinator, and Christian works at US Bank in Milwaukee as a Fund Accountant. We’ve grown together through seasons, and we are so excited to continue growing in love and faith as we begin our marriage.

We are so blessed to be surrounded by the people who have shaped our lives and shared in our greatest memories. Our wedding party is big—because our hearts are full! Each person here represents a chapter of our story, from family who’ve been with us since day one to friends who became family through college adventures and lifelong bonds. Their love, laughter, and support mean the world to us, and we couldn’t imagine saying “I do” without every single one of them by our side. This day is as much about celebrating our journey as it is about honoring the incredible friendships and family ties that brought us here.
