We are asking that our guests wear cocktail attire. Tuxes or suits and elegant cocktail dresses or gowns. Please no black dresses!
Can I bring my child/children?
No, our ceremony and reception will be child-free outside of immediate family. We would like to keep this an adults-only event as much as possible.
How should I get to your venue?
As our wedding will have alcohol provided, please drink responsibly and do not drink and drive! There are a number of small, windy roads that have to be taken to get to and from the venue, and we want everyone to remain safe and sound. Uber/Lyft can be spotty in the area, and we will not be providing transportation. Due to this, we HIGHLY suggest planning ahead and having someone in your party remain sober to drive you and your party home safely for the evening. Vehicles may be left at the venue overnight if necessary but must be picked up by 10am the following morning.
Can I bring a plus one?
If your guest's name is listed on your invitation and when you RSVP, then yes! Otherwise, we would love to keep the wedding an intimate event with the close friends and family invited. Please respect that if your invitation is addressed to only you, there is no plus one included. Thanks for understanding!
Will I need to relocate for cocktail hour or the reception?
Our wedding venue is a one stop shop. Once you arrive for our ceremony you will not need to relocate to a different venue for our cocktail hour or reception.
Am I allowed to take photos at the wedding?
Not during the ceremony, but after, feel free to capture all the memories! We are doing an unplugged ceremony. We request that all guests put away, silence, or turn off all devices (cell phones, cameras, etc.) for the duration of the ceremony. We will have a professional photographer taking photos.
What airport should I fly into?
Birmingham-Shuttlesworth or Hartsfield-Jackson International (Atlanta). Please visit the "air travel" tab for more details.
Is the wedding outside?
November in Alabama is one of the most beautiful months of the year. Weather permitting cocktail hour will be outside, and the reception will take place in a covered pavilion. In the event of cooler evening temperatures, plenty of heaters will be brought in to keep our guests warm.
Is the venue wheelchair accessible?
The venue is wheelchair accessible, but please be advised that there is gravel in some areas. There will be golf carts escorting guests upon arrival from the parking lot to the ceremony location.
