For Joe, driving to Josh and Lynnea’s wedding in his hometown, he was thinking how special it was for one of his best friend’s wedding to occur on the 30th anniversary weekend of his parents at the same location - Skylands Manor in Ringwood. This would become something more than mere coincidence…

For Eb, it was also a magical wedding to see one of her closest college friends getting married.

To her surprise, as the first song came on at the reception, Joe had come up to her to ask for her hand for the first dance.

One dance turned into a several and we really knew this was the start of something special when we danced to Whitney Houston’s “I wanna dance with somebody”.

A few mile trip to Josh and Lynnea’s wedding turned into our long distance relationship. We have had quite the journey from the top of the World’s Largest Rocking Chair, fighting the NYC traffic to see the Rockefeller Christmas tree, discovering the murals at Gulfport’s Fishbone Ally, didn’t break a leg watching Wicked on Broadway, compromising on hard served vs soft served ice cream with Mississippi’s Quakes custard, pumping gas at Buc-ceees, fine dining at Cincinnati’s Skyline Chili, picking wild berries on the family farm, hiking the Del Water Gap in autumn, and going to see the Red Sox win at Fenway Park. We cannot wait for what the rest of our life together has in store.
