Like many great love stories, ours began in an unexpected time—April 2020. While the world was slowing down, something special was just beginning. We started talking, and before long, those conversations became the best part of our days.

Our first date was in May 2020: sushi takeout, a cozy night in, and hours of conversation (thank you, COVID!). No big plans—just a genuine connection that felt easy and right. A few weeks later, in June, we officially became a couple.

That summer brought so many memories, but the highlight was our Labor Day weekend beach trip. Somewhere between the sunshine, the waves, and late-night talks, we said “I love you” for the first time.

Since then, we’ve built a life filled with love, laughter, and shared passions. Whether we’re cheering from the stands at Georgia Tech or Auburn football games (yes, we’ve learned to compromise!), or spending quiet evenings at home with Elizabeth’s cats—Rosie and Penny, who are now fully Team Perry—we’ve grown closer every step of the way.
