Our love story begins where one typically does: an indoor soccer field in Dayton, OH.

On a Friday night in December 2023, Mitch found himself subbing on Dom's indoor soccer league. During the first half, Mitch took a break (after completely dominating) and needed some water. There were approximately 100 water bottles on the sidelines for the 8 players, so he had no idea which was Dom's. Luckily for him, Elizabeth noticed how out of shape the poor guy was and how desperately he needed water. Showing him his first taste of southern hospitality, she said "you can have some of my water" and the rest was history.

In February of 2024 we reconnected (in a snowstorm in the middle of Dayton), by March we had started dating, in April Mitch had moved to North Carolina, and by May, Elizabeth had gone with him (when ya know, ya know, ya know?). At the time, we both joked that this was going to be the best or worst decision of our lives. And it's turned out to be the best.
