In 2021 we were both lucky enough to be standing in our childhood best friends’ wedding (Zach & Anna), not knowing our unofficial wedding date for the wedding was each other. We met at the rehearsal dinner on Thursday night, exchanged hellos, introductions and small talk. We went our separate ways that night after dinner. Fast forward to Friday night before the wedding. The wedding party was hanging out and we all ordered food. Elizabeth’s meal was unfortunately forgotten by the restaurant. Mitch, being the person that he is sat with Elizabeth and they talked forever as they waited for her dinner to arrive.

Saturday afternoon approached, the girls are all dolled up and ready, the boys are in their suits. The wedding party was watching Zach and Anna take their solo pictures together. Elizabeth looks over at Mitchell and as he calls it his hair was in prime “Clark Kent” form. Elizabeth tried to fix Mitchell’s hair claiming it wasn’t photo ready and he swatted away Elizabeth’s hand. Fast forward to later in the night… We spent the rest of the night dancing together and having the BEST time. Later the next day, numbers were exchanged. A week later they had their first date at The Terrace and the rest became history.
